To get the best out of anal strap on, the preparation starts way before the sex starts. There are so many things you can do to make the giving and the receiving for both people a much more pleasurable experience. We are going to try and give you some helpful hints and tips for both beginners of anal sex and those more practised.
Pre anal strap on diet and lifestyle
First and foremost you diet. What you eat leading up to the day of anal strap on sex and on the day in question. You need a regular diet of high fibre to keep yourself clean. Why do you need a high fibre diet? fibres are carbohydrates that do not give energy and can’t be digested, but they help on the proper function of the intestine.
You can supplement the fibre in your diet and a good way to do that is by taking the food supplement “Psyllium husks”. Psyllium is a form of fibre made from the husks of the Plantago ovata plant’s seeds. They should help with firm, clean stools that pass quickly, sometimes even leaving a clean bum hole. People even say they stop the need for douching even. So keep your diet full of fibre and you will ready to have some clean strap on anal sex. Plus drink plenty of water. Water is essential for your body and without it, the fibres will not flow as well
Foods to avoid are the obvious ones that cause bloating and discomfort, like spicy food and pepper and also red meat, eggs, caffeine, alcohol and junk food. Perhaps try limiting one or two of these a few days before you have sex again. Red meat although full of protein, most meats are very greasy and takes the body a lot of energy to digest, Pepper, mostly our bodies do not have any chemical capacity to digest strong peppers, which means they come out the same way they got in, reduce your dairy, maybe switch to vegan choices instead of dairy. That includes protein powders like whey protein. Cut down on fats, if your stool floats then perhaps you’re having an issue with fat digestion.
Anal Douching
There are 4 main ways to anal douche. Shower Enemas, Enema Bulbs, Fleet Enemas and Enema Bags. But the only ones we will talk about are Shower Enemas and Enema Bulbs as these are the only two I would recommend. With both of these methods. DON’T use anything other than water, otherwise you could cause some serious damage
Shower enema kits are a fast and efficient way to clean out your ass when preparing for anal strap on. Make sure that the water is lukewarm – not too hot and not cold. push the nozzle against (not in) your hole. But be careful. Because with showers there’s a risk of sudden changes in water pressure and temperature and because your rectum doesn’t sense heat, it’s easy to burn yourself. Don’t have the water pressure very high and simply relax your arse muscles. The warm water will naturally enter your body. Fill your ass with water for about 5 seconds. Hold it in for a few minutes. then let it out. You can get out of the shower and do this in the toilet if you like being careful, or directly into your shower drain If so make sure the drain cover is off. Plus be prepared to have to clean as you go. This is when you can see how well your pre anal diet is working. Repeat the above process until the water comes out clear.
Using an enema bulb is similar to using a shower enema. But it takes way longer. But a big advantage is you can pack the enema bulb while traveling and also you can do it over the toilet and so you don’t have to clean the shower as you go. Plus they are safer than shower hose attachments because you can control the flow of water and temperature. To start with fill up your bulb with lukewarm water – not too hot and not cold. Lube up your arse and insert the enema bulb, not to far! Squeeze the bulb, pushing the water inside your arse. Again as with the shower kit, hold it in for a couple of minutes before releasing the water. Again you can rinse and repeat this until the water runs clear.
When to douche is up to you. Though sometimes you might get some unexpected water coming out a little while after. So some people prefer to wait an hour or two before anal strap on to make sure all the liquid is out. Also it is sometimes left a little sensitive. It is totally your choice. Personally I would make sure I’m prepared an hour or so in advance.
Best lube for anal training
First and foremost, do not use numbing lubricants. For a variety of reasons. Firstly the most important. Safety. If you numb the sensitive anal region so that you can’t feel pain, then you risk causing serious physical damage. Pain is the body’s signal that you need to stop what you’re doing and slow down. If you can’t feel pain, then you don’t know when sensitive tissue is being torn. Second you won’t get used to the sensation of having toys getting inserted, so you won’t get the pleasure or the experience in feeling the toys for the future.
The three most popular types of anal lube are: Silicone-based anal lube. Water-based anal lubes and a a mixture of both silicone and water with Hybrid anal lubes. But you can also use natural products.
Water-based lubes are not often too sticky or unnatural feeling, they do feel like a vagina when having normal sex. They do, however, to dry out much quicker than silicone. This means with anal strap on play or penetrative anal sex, you will need to apply water-based lube a few times throughout the session to keep the arse well lubricated.
Silicone based anal lube much is usually thicker and longer-lasting than water-based lubes which at first, makes the idea of using silicone for anal toy play and strap on much more practical. But Silicone-based lubes are not always suitable for use with condoms. Also Silicone-based lubricants will also damage silicone sex toys and attachments.
Hybrid lubricants are basically the best or indeed worse of both worlds in strap on training. While they give the long lasting properties of silicone based lubes, while at the same time being easier to clean and less sticky like water based lubes. Remember, as they contain silicone, they are not safe to use with silicone sex toys or condoms.
Plant based cooking oils will work well as anal lube as long as they are of high quality and not blended with any flavoring agents. such as sweet almond oil, virgin coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil and aloe vera
Different anal toys for anal training and play
Before going to see a mistress for the first time, most of us want to have at least some experience in anal play and stretching ourselves. If you are playing with a partner the best way to start is obviously small toys and fingers before advancing on to a giant strap on. If you are going to see a mistress, you need to be honest and upfront about your level of anal experience. A good mistress will be able to stretch your limits over time. Here is a small guide on what toys you can buy for yourself, or you can buy with your partner for your start of anal training. Just remember to use plenty of lube, go at your own pace, start small and relax!
Butt plugs are used for a variety of things, but most commonly, they’re used to give a feeling of fullness or to safely stretch the arse you can start small and work your way up. You can buy training kits that have a range of sizes so you can train your way up. Or they can even be inflatable so you can insert and slowly inflate to stretch yourself slowly. Butt plugs should always have a flared base which is wider than the widest part of the toy, because the anus doesn’t have a natural stop sign like the vagina does and you don’t want the whole thing going in. You can get but plugs in a variety of materials including medical-grade silicone, glass, and stainless steel. They also come in vibrating and non vibrating options some even remote controlled.
Anal beads consist of small balls or spheres connected together, usually increasing in size. so the more you insert the bigger the ball is. It is a great way of increasing the size. Both inserting and removing anal beads will give pleasure. Start slow and remove slowly. Anal beads are usually made in the same materials as butt plugs including medical-grade silicone, glass, and stainless steel. They also come in vibrating and non vibrating options. As with Butt plugs. anal beads should also always have a flared base which is wider than the widest part of the toy.
Dildos can also be used as is during solo or partnered anal play. Many can also then be used in a harness for strap on play. So long as they have a wide base base or are long enough to not need one they can’t go all the way in Some dildo’s some are made specifically for anal stimulation, but any can be used. Anal dildos tend to be slimmer than vaginal dildos, since your anus doesn’t stretch as far as your vagina does. It’s important to start small and go slow. If you’re new to anal penetration, it’s best to start with a finger-sized dildo. You can also get double ended anal dildo’s so you and your partner can share. Either arse to arse, or vagina to arse play. So you will have a two in one sex toy that can offer double pleasure.
Double-ended (strapless) strap on. Ok these are not strap-on’s as they have no straps. But they work in a similar way and also look similar. The big advantage is the lady doing the pegging can insert her end into her vagina, so she also gets penetrative pleasure. At the same time as the man being pegged. It is a more intimate act than a strap on alone It still allows for full power thrusting sessions What’s more, in the absence of the straps, these double-ended beasts make sure that both partners enjoy the experience equally.
Srap on‘s. There are a huge amount of strap-on’s available and every mistress will have her favourite kind for various reasons. It really is a subject all of it’s own, which one day I will write an article on. But for a simple beginners guide I have listed the most popular here.
- Harness with a Removable Dildo. If the strap on harness has a removable dildo (unlike a dedicated pegging strap on), it will either include a metal or rubber O ring that enables any dildo with flat base to slide through and be attached to the harness
- Unisex strap on Harness. Similar to above but are comfortable for men to wear because the straps fit around the legs, they don’t go under the testicles like a female harness would. But that does not make them just for men, they are unisex and have advantages for women. Women like the unisex versions because the crotchless design leaves her vagina and clitoris exposed for added pleasure during strap on sex.
- Vibrating strap on‘s. The vibrating strap on features a built in motor embedded inside the attachment’s shaft that vibrates via corded controller unit. But obviously in the main you are stuck with the one toy so can’t change to any toy like the Harness and Unisex strap-on’s with their O rings
- Hollow strap on‘s for men who can no longer enjoy sex. The center is hollow allowing the flaccid penis to fit inside.
- Pegging strap on‘s are purpose made for females pegging the man. They feature a small, thin or curved attachment that is ideal for anal sex. They are often a couples first anal strap onand are common amongst couples, but unlike the Harness strap on with O rings they are again limited to the one toy. I would say these are for beginners, where as most professional mistresses would use a real harness with O rings.
- Vac U Lock strap on‘s, work in a similar way as the harness, but you can only use Vac U Lock toys. Though there is a huge range of Vac U Lock toys available. Vac U Lock toys get inserted onto a small male adapter plug that is on the harness through a small hole on the dildo you want to use. Like the O ring harness they come in a huge range of sizes and materials.
